This course provides foundational knowledge and practical understanding of human blood and its components, with a strong emphasis on laboratory techniques. Students will explore the formation, function, and pathology of blood cells, along with essential diagnostic procedures used in clinical hematology.
Key topics include hematopoiesis, complete blood count (CBC), morphology of blood cells, anemia classifications, leukemias, coagulation mechanisms, and basic blood banking principles. The course integrates theoretical concepts with hands-on practical skills, enabling students to perform and interpret hematological tests accurately.
