Students learn the fundamentals of manual drafting and computer-aided design (CAD), along with standard conventions and practices in technical drawing. The course emphasizes orthographic projections, isometric drawings, sectional views, dimensioning, and tolerancing, enabling students to effectively communicate design ideas and interpret engineering drawings.
